GTA 6 Branding Package: What $45, $79 and $199 Get You
A GTA 6 branding package is the set of files that makes a brand-new channel look like it has been running for a year: the banner, the channel mark, the watermark, and whatever else your uploads actually need. The price difference between $45 and $199 is not design quality — it is how many surfaces viewers will meet you on. At the bottom tier you are buying one surface. At the top you are buying every surface, all drawn from the same mark.
GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which gives you a hard deadline rather than a vague goal. Here is exactly what sits inside each tier, the specs every file has to hit, and the seven things to check before you hand anyone money.
What a GTA 6 branding package actually includes
Strip away the marketing and a channel identity is six files. Every one of them has a fixed size and a file-size ceiling YouTube enforces on upload, so there is no guesswork about whether a deliverable is correct:
| Asset | Exact size | Max file size | Where viewers see it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Channel banner | 2560 × 1440 px | 6 MB | Top of your channel page, every device |
| Profile picture / logo | 800 × 800 px | 4 MB | Every video, comment, Short and search result |
| Watermark | 150 × 150 px, transparent PNG | 1 MB | Bottom-right of the player on every video |
| Thumbnail system | 1280 × 720 px | 2 MB | Browse, search, suggested — the click decision |
| Shorts cover | 1080 × 1920 px | — | The Shorts tab on your channel |
| Membership badges | Render at 14 px in chat | — | Live chat and comments, once memberships are on |
A package is worth paying for when those six files look like one family — same mark, same two or three colors, same headline font. A cheap set fails not because any single file is ugly, but because the banner, the logo and the thumbnails look like they came from three different channels.
The two safe zones that decide whether your banner survives
This is the single most common place a budget banner falls apart, so it is worth 60 seconds of your attention. You upload one 2560 × 1440 px image, and YouTube crops it differently on every screen:
- 1546 × 423 px is the band shown on desktop and TV. Most guides stop here — and that is the mistake.
- 1235 × 338 px is the tightest crop, the only region visible on every device including phones. Your channel name, mark and handle have to sit inside it.
Anything outside 1235 × 338 is atmosphere: skyline, neon, palm silhouettes, gradient. Anything a viewer must be able to read belongs inside it. Our full breakdown of GTA 6 YouTube banner design walks through all four device crops with the layout that passes each one.
The three tiers compared
Here is how our own packages map onto those six surfaces, so you can see precisely what each price step adds rather than guessing from a feature list.
| What you get | Starter — $45 | Creator — $79 | Ultimate — $199 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Channel banner (2560 × 1440, both safe zones respected) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Channel logo / profile picture (800 × 800) | — | Yes | Yes |
| Watermark (150 × 150 transparent PNG) | — | Yes | Yes |
| Thumbnail template system | — | — | Yes |
| Shorts / vertical covers | — | — | Yes |
| Full identity sheet (colors, fonts, usage rules) | — | — | Yes |
| Best for | A channel page that looks finished tonight | The complete YouTube basics | Channels publishing weekly through launch |
The step most creators underrate is $45 to $79. A banner alone still leaves a default-avatar circle next to every comment you post and every Short you publish — and that circle appears far more often than your channel page does. If you can only afford one upgrade, make it the mark. The reasoning behind that, and the files a logo should ship with, is in our guide to GTA 6 YouTube logo design.

Seven things to check before you pay
These apply to any designer, marketplace gig or studio — not just to us. Ask all seven before money changes hands.
- Exact deliverable list in writing. “Banner + logo” is not a deliverable list. “2560 × 1440 JPG banner, 800 × 800 PNG profile picture, 150 × 150 transparent PNG watermark” is.
- A transparent PNG of the mark. Without it you cannot place your logo on a thumbnail, a stream scene or a dark background.
- A light-background version. Marks designed only for black vanish the moment you put them on a bright screenshot.
- The source file. Layered or vector. Without it, every future tweak is a redraw you pay for again.
- Commercial-use rights, stated. You are monetizing a channel. “Personal use only” terms are a problem you find out about later.
- Revision count and turnaround. Two rounds is normal. Unlimited rounds usually means slow.
- No Rockstar assets. Official logos, press art and screenshots in your permanent channel branding are a takedown risk and make you look unofficial-pretending-to-be-official. Original artwork in the Vice City mood is both safer and more memorable.
Point 7 is not legal theater. A banner is a permanent, public, monetized use of an image — a very different thing from a thumbnail frame taken from your own gameplay. Build your own mark and your channel becomes the recognizable thing, not the game’s logo.
Which GTA 6 branding package fits your channel
Match your situation rather than your ambition. The right tier is the one that covers the surfaces you will actually publish on in the next 60 days.
- Brand-new channel, first uploads this month → Starter. Get the page looking finished, then upgrade once you know your niche has stuck.
- Uploading regularly, still on a default avatar → Creator. Banner, mark and watermark is the full YouTube baseline, and the watermark turns every video into a subscribe prompt.
- Publishing weekly and planning launch-week volume → Ultimate. A thumbnail system is the piece that saves hours per upload when you are shipping daily, and it is the asset with the clearest effect on clicks. The case for a reusable system over one-off files is in our guide to GTA 6 YouTube thumbnail design.
- Streaming on Twitch or Kick as well → Ultimate, then re-export per platform. Start with GTA 6 multi-platform branding to see which five files change and which must never change.
- Existing channel changing direction to GTA 6 → Creator or Ultimate, but read the YouTube channel branding checklist first so you swap the assets in an order your subscribers do not find jarring.
If you want to sanity-check these numbers against the wider market before deciding, we published a breakdown of what YouTube channel art costs in 2026 across templates, freelancers and agencies, asset by asset.
Pick your tier and ship it before launch week
Every tier is original artwork built in the Vice City mood — neon, sunset, coastline — with your channel name sized to survive the 1235 × 338 phone crop, and delivered in the exact formats YouTube accepts. No stock templates, no Rockstar assets.
- Starter — YouTube Banner ($45) — one banner, both safe zones respected, channel page finished.
- Creator — Banner + Logo + Watermark ($79) — the full YouTube baseline, and the most common pick.
- Ultimate — Full Channel Identity ($199) — every surface, plus the thumbnail system that pays for itself during launch week.
FAQ
How much does a GTA 6 branding package cost?
A single custom banner runs about $40 to $60, a banner-plus-logo-plus-watermark set around $70 to $120, and a full channel identity with a thumbnail system $150 to $350 depending on the designer. Our own tiers sit at $45, $79 and $199.
Do I need a logo if I only want a banner?
Your profile picture appears next to every video, comment and Short, while your banner only appears when someone visits your channel page. A default avatar is therefore seen far more often than a great banner. If you can add one asset, add the 800 × 800 mark.
What files should a branding package include?
At minimum: a 2560 × 1440 banner under 6 MB, an 800 × 800 profile picture, a 150 × 150 transparent PNG watermark, a light-background version of the mark, the layered or vector source file, and written commercial-use rights. Missing source files mean paying again for every future edit.
Can I use GTA 6 artwork in my channel branding?
Avoid putting official Rockstar logos, press art or screenshots into permanent channel assets like your banner and profile picture. It is a monetized public use and a takedown risk. Original artwork inspired by the Vice City atmosphere is safer and builds a mark viewers associate with you.
